We're looking forward to welcoming Ballet Cymru as they make their Dukes debut on November 13.

The awardwinning Ballet Cymru pride themselves in being different and their production of Cinderella which they are bringing to Lancaster will be no exception. It features circus elements and the finest classical dance performed to a specially commissioned music score.

Ballet Cymru are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. They won the Best Large Scale Dance Production at the 2018 Wales Theatre Awards and on Cinderella have worked with awardwinning composer, Jack White and Creative Wales Awardwinning choreographer, Darius James.

Together with the circus company Citrus Arts, Ballet Cymru will produce a unique blend of classical technique and storytelling to conjure up a sparkling and refreshing ballet version of the eternal fairytale.
