The Dukes is looking for people aged 14+ to sing on our stage!
Starting in September, join community choir rehearsals – fun and friendly singing workshops with a wide-range of a cappella pop songs from across the world! The community choir will prepare a selection of songs from the 60’s and 90’s before performing at the Dukes in November in Beautiful Thing (6th Nov – 10th Nov).
Coronation Street writer, Jonathan Harvey is at his insightful and hilarious best in this iconic story of teenagers Ste and Jamie – next door neighbours who are being bullied but find refuge in something beautiful. The play has charmed and delighted audiences across the world (inspiring a cult film of the same name) and this 25th anniversary production will feature ‘60s and ‘90s pop songs performed live each night by a community choir.
