Set in an alternate version of Oakland, California, young African-American telemarketer Cassius discovers that adopting a white accent helps him thrive at his job.

However professional success propels him into a bizarre world of conspiracy and greed, where he is forced to sell more abhorrent products, encounters absurd consequences, and must decide whether making money at the expense of humanity is worth it.
